Landslide Pinot Noir
Wine
Home Hill Landslide Pinot Noir is grown in Tasmania's Huon Valley, the southernmost and coolest part of Australia. The Huon Valley has a similar latitude and climate to Bordeaux in France.
The frosty winters, abundant spring rain and slow ripening conditions in the warmer months are ideal for cool climate Pinot Noir.
The grapes are fermented with a mix of wild and cultured yeasts. Some whole bunch inclusion adds complexity and texture. After several weeks on skins, the wine matures in new and seasoned French oak.
Bright magenta, Home Hill Landslide Pinot Noir is bright and juicy with vibrant fruit flavours and fine, supple tannins. Cellaring potentials is seven years.
